The ATO's interpretation of what constitutes a segregated current pension asset, together with the Super Reforms necessitates a new set of data requirements for actuaries providing certificates under s295-390 of ITAA 1997. The Actuarial Certificate Request Data Standard aims to define an industry-wide data format standard which can be used across actuarial providers and SMSF software platforms.
